Roger Dale Smith, age 71 of Tipp City, passed away January 11, 2021. He was born February 24, 1949 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Chester and Nannie Smith. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Smith, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law: Ernestine and Ricky Slover; and very special father-in-law, Frank Inman.

Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked in construction for most of his life. Roger was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt. Roger was the best husband and will be missed.

Private services will be held at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roger's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
