Ernestine Faye Slover born December 31, 1947 departed this life on Friday August 14, 2020 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 72-years old. Ernestine was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Chester Smith and the late Nannie Conatser Smith. Other than her Parents, Ernestine was also preceded in death by her Husband, Ricky Slover; One Brother, Gene Smith and One Sister, Sherry Smith. Ernestine loved her family and spending time with her family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed dancing.
Ernestine Faye Slover leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Three Sons, Chester Brewer of Maine, Tim Brewer of Carlisle, KY, Brandon Slover of Richmond, KY; Daughter, Tracy Caywood of Hazard; Three Brothers, Roger Smith of Dayton, OH, Roy Smith of Dayton, OH, David Smith of Corbin, KY; Three Sisters, Brenda Combs of Dayton, OH, Diane Ritchie of London, KY, Alice Jent of Hazard; Two Special Grandchildren, Isabella Brewer and Joe Morgan Brewer; Special Niece: Angie Hurt; A host of nieces, nephews, other Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Ernestine Slover will be conducted on Thursday August 20, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Carter officiating. The Interment will follow in the Slover Family Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
