Gertrude May Long was born in Dodge Township March 18, 1881, and died at her home in Hardin Township Webster County, Iowa, November 19, 1909, aged 28 years, 8 months and 1 day. On December 23, 1899 she was married to Mr. A.C. Baker. To them were born two children, Leonard, 9 years old, and Magolia, 6 years old. Mr. Baker died three years ago. On May 7, 1909, she was married to Mr. Roy Long, who with the two children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Long, of Fraser, four sisters, Mrs. J.A. Parrish, Mrs. G.W. Malcomb, Mrs. Frank Farri and Miss Caroline Long, and two brothers, John and Freddie Long, all of Fraser, survive to mourn her dearth.
The funeral services were held from the Gospel Tabernacle at Fraser Sunday, November 21st conducted by the Rev. A.D. Davis, burial in the Mineral Ridge cemetery. The family have the earnest sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
