Lewis Hinman, well known in these parts died at his home on the 24th of Bright's disease, after a long and severe spell of sickness.

Death of L. S. Hinman

L. S. Hinman of Dodge Township, died at his residence early Sunday morning after a long illness resulting from Bright's disease, and was buried Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the M. E. Church at Ridgeport, with the Stratford Post G. A. R. in charge of burial. Mr. Hinman was one of the pioneers of Boone County, having resided in Boone nearly if not quite 35 years. For a number of years past he had been the Dodge correspondent to the Republican and we sincerely tender our sympathy to the sorrowing friends."
