He lived his entire life in Lawrence County. He graduated from Clover Bend High School and went to work for Kerr McGee Oil Co for 40 years.
He loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. He loved life and his hunting & fishing but he loved most of all, his family and his greats. His eyes always lit up when they came to see him. They will miss Papa. Kenneth was a 50+ year Master Mason, 50+ year Hoxie councilman, and about 50 years with the Hoxie Housing Department. He was a member of the Arbor Grove Free Will Baptist Church and until bad health, very active in his church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Junior Quarry; daughter, Becky Sellers; two grandchildren, Jason Quarry and Michelle Sellers; his parents; and three brothers, Edward, Burl, and Carroll Quarry.
He is survived by his wife Sue Quarry of the home; daughter, Tammy (Donnie) Hancock of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren, Michael Sellers, Derek (Lauren) Hancock, Houston (Adrienne) Hancock, & Justin Quarry; 4 great grandchildren, Fisher Quarry, Reese Hancock, Gwyn Hancock, & Knox Hancock with a baby girl due in August; two step great grandsons, Hunter Smith & Jake Smith; two sisters, Pat Winfrey & Barbara Brumley both of Walnut Ridge; and a brother, Jerry Quarry of Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services conducted at House-Gregg Funeral Home Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 11:00AM with Ben Campbell officiating.
Burial: Clover Bend Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
