Rafaelita made several friends and acquaintances along the way chatting with most everyone that crossed her path she was known as "Candy" or "Fela", she had a smile for everyone.
During her lifetime in the South Valley her favorite activities included walking and making friends at the Rio Grande track, spotting unique and curios collectables at her favorite stores, deep cleaning her and her mother's house multiple times of day, tending to her flowers, painting her home in a vast array of colors, one of the things she missed the most was dancing and having beers with her brother, Lalo.
Rafaelita was preceded in death by her Tata and Mami Tyita, her father, mother, brother, sister, many uncles and aunts, her nephew and cousins.
Rafaelita is survived by her two daughters, her grandson, sister, brother and several family members who will miss her constant presence and stories of life, hard work, loss and the many blessings God sends to all of us.
Services will be on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 will be the Rosary at 8:20 a.m. mass to follow at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San José de Armijo Cemetery followed by reception at St. Anne's Parish Hall.
