Funeral Service for Goldie (Day) Maxwell, 67, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on February 13, 1954 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dorthy (Holliman) Day and Rudolph Edmond Day and passed away on June 9, 2021 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Robert Maxwell on June 3, 1997 in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was formerly a teachers aide at Roland Public School, a Licensed Cosmetologist and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

children: Steve and Jill Russell of Muldrow, OK, Ronnie and Casey Wilson of Perry, OK, Josh and Nisha Wilson of Choctaw, OK, Robert Don and Terry Maxwell of Park Hill, OK and Brian and Alisha Wallace of Van Buren, OK;

13 grandchildren: Matt and Kristen Goodson, Lindsey Russell, Nicholas Russell, Blake and Deekota Wilson, Bryant and Allison Wilson, Brady Wilson, Gatlin Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Anika Wilson, Rachel and Tyler Thomas, Ross Maxwell, Shawn Wallace and Kalynn Wallace;

5 great-grandchildren: Braxon Goodson, Bryar Goodson, Calhan Wilson, Vivian Thomas and Kolar Thomas;

siblings: Junior and Genell of Booneville, AR, Paralea Smith of Roland, OK, Maggie and Phillip Deuster of Sikeston, MO, Bill and Judy Day of Roland, OK, Emma and Nolan Foster of Salina, OK, and Frank and Vicki Day of Roland, OK;

sister-in-law: Brenda Day of Liberty, OK;

several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charlie Day, Jim Day and Tommy Ray Day; and one sister, Fern Bolding.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremy Day, Steve Russell, Ross Maxwell, Brian Wallace, Robert Don Maxwell and Blake Wilson.

Viewing and Visitation will be 10 AM – 8 PM Saturday and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 PM Sunday.
