Haines Falls, N. Y., July 15 -- (AP) -- Fourteen bodies have been recovered at noon today from the ruins of the Twilight Inn which was burned early yesterday. Two of the bodies were identified. They were DR. G. LIVINGSTON BISHOP, a retired Episcopalian clergyman of Philadelphia, and MRS. CORNELIUS P. ERKENBACKER, of Cincinnati.

Son of Rev. Alexander Hamilton and Susan Holmes Bishop

Born at Astoria (L.I.) N.Y., May 1, 1845
After graduation, he spent 1 year in study and travel in Europe and then studied 2 years at Theological Seminary in New York City and I year at Divinity School in Philadelphia, and then entered the ministry of the Protestant Episcopal Church. He was assistant minister of the Church of the Advent, Philadelphia from April 1670 to October 1871. Rector at Saint James Church, West Philadelphia, December 1871 to May 1876. Rector of Saint Paul’s Church W. Whiteland, Chester County, Pa. May 1876 to March 1879. Assistant minister of Saint Luke’s Church, Germantown, Pa., March 1879 to June 1881. Rector of the Church of the Good Shephard, Binghamton, N.Y. July 1881 to Dec. 1885. From June Dec., 1885 to June 1888 missionary in charge of the Church of the Advent, Kennentt, and Saint John’s Church, New London, Chester County, Pa. From 1888 to 1896, missionary of the Church of the Good Samaritan, Paoli, Pa. During 1896, on the account of ill health, he removed to West Philadelphia. In February of 1898, with health restored, he became missionary in the Diocese of New Jersey, and has so continued being November, 1906, missionary in charge of Saint James Church, Paulsboro, N.J., St Stephens Church, Mullica Hill, N.J., and St. Barnabas’ Church, Mantua, N.J.
Bishop was married to Ellen M. Conarroe, Philadelphia, Pa., June 1,1869.
Children: Kathrine Holmes, born in Philadelphia, May 20 1870.
George Conarroe, born Germantown July, 11, 1871.
Charlotte West, born West Philadelphia, Nov. 2. 1872.
Alexander Hamilton, West Philadelphia, Dec.2, 1874.
