avid A. Potter, 62, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Ridgeview Healthcare. He was born on August 22, 1958 in Clearfield the son of Earl and Linnie (Boalich) Potter. On October 28, 1994 he married Cynthia (Peters) Potter. David worked for Greenland Construction, Continental Construction Inc. and retired from Allegheny Contracting LLC. He was a member of the John Lewis Shade American Legion, Post 6 Clearfield, Fraternal Order of Eagles 812, Clearfield, Curwensville Moose Lodge 268, and Penfield Fireman's Club. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and gardening. David is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cindy (Peters) Potter of Clearfield, a son, Nathan (Amy) Potter of Clearfield, a step-daughter, Megan Jordan of Salisbury, MD; two grandsons; his mother, Linnie Potter of Clearfield; two siblings: Douglas Potter of Clearfield and Cynthia (Michael) Barbara of Clearfield; also survived by nieces and nephews and his beloved pet cat Iszi. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Potter. A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4pm until the hour of services at the funeral home.
