Louis Mecum
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of McGinnis and Wilhelm Funeral Home for Louis J. Mecum, 3615 SE 16th Ave., who died Tuesday in a local hospital. Private entombment will be in Portland Memorial Indoor Cemetery.
Mr. Mecum was born Oct. 27, 1882, in Red Bluff, Calif. An engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad from 1900 to 1947, he moved ot Portland in 1908. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive engineers, the Railroad Retirement Club, and Sellwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Frances W., and one brother, Frank E., Portland.
