Paul Camden Eckhart, 83, of Parkersburg, WV died Saturday November 10, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Adam and Della (Smith) Eckhart.

He worked for FMC for 33 years and retired from GE Plastics in 1987. He was a member of Broadway Nazarene Church. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He coached little league baseball, enjoyed bowling, and was a Mountaineer fan.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Roxie (Townsend) Eckhart; son and daughter-in-law David and Kim Eckhart of Rochester, NY; two daughters and son-in-laws Jane and Dick Allen of Washington, WV, and Barb and Jeff Amos of Vienna; seven grandchildren Drew and Dane Eckhart, Kelli Sallee, Stacey Hart, Heather Allen, and Ashley and Sara Amos; five great grandchildren; a brother Earl Eckhart of Parkersburg; and his lifetime friend Bud Null.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Sheppard, brother Carl Eckhart, and two great grandchildren Mariah Allen and Austin Hart.

Services will be Tuesday 1:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastors Harold Eaton and William B. Hines officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
