On Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, Deborah Ann Palmer, loving mother & grandmother passed away suddenly at the age of 61.
Debbie was born on June 9th, 1959 in New York, NY to Bob and Eileen (Fedigan) Doyle. She grew up in Riverdale and the Bronx, NY before moving to Long Island in 1986. She studied at Grace Institute and worked for W.R. Grace and Company from 1978 to 1987. She worked for Beekman Capital Management from 1991 to 2001, and worked temporarily at Central Florist in Valley Stream, NY. On April 17th, 1983, she married Orio Joseph Palmer. They had three children, Dana, Keith, & Alyssa.
Debbie was preceded in death by Orio on September 11th, 2001. She is survived by her parents, Eileen and Bob Doyle, her siblings, Bobby & his wife, Lenore, Kenny and his wife, Joan, & Colleen and her husband Charlie, her three children, her son-in-law, Joe, daughter-in-law, Kristin, 3 grandsons, Joseph, Shane, & Charlie, as well as a multitude of friends. She was known for a smile that lit up a room, her infectious laugh and positive attitude, & kindness that could not be measured. Everyone found comfort in her words of wisdom and called on her strength in times of need. To know her was to love her, and she will be greatly missed.



A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at 10:45am at Holy Name of Mary Church in Valley Stream. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Debbie's memory to the Foundation for Fighting Blindness or Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
