Donald was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Madill High School in 1953. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he worked at the Fort Worth Stock Yards before moving back to Madill.
Donald married Delois Ann Ross on October 27, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas. He worked for the Taliaferro Ranch in Madill before going to work for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as a Fuel Inspector where he worked for 35 years before retiring.
Donald was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Madill Roundup Club. He enjoyed reading, vacationing to Branson, Missouri and Arkansas but most of all he loved being with his family.
He is survived by:

Children: Hal Morgan and friend Sheryl Reid, Blanchard, Oklahoma
Rhonda Tickel, Madill, Oklahoma
1 Granddaughter: Monica Ellis and husband Cody, Ada, Oklahoma
1 Great Grandson: Connor Ellis
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother; John Morgan and 2 sisters; Lorraine Back and Mary Edna Whalen
