Passed away Saturday at Franciscan Health under hospice care.

Son of Edgar and Mary Ward.
Married Myrna Myers Oct. 3, 1953. She preceded him in death.
Later married Carolyn Annie Endicott. She survives.
Also surviving are son Bret (Joni) Ward; daughters Deborah (Dan) Alguire and Sherry (the late Ken) Swank; step-sons Tim (Rochella) Endicott and Sam (Lynda) Endicott; step-daughter Ember (Todd) Neal; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister Cathy (late Ray) Seeger.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters and brothers, grandson Jonathon Alguire and three great-grandchildren.

Retired from California Pellet Mill and enjoyed working at the Indy 500 as a security guard.

He was an accomplished wood worker with countless people enjoying his masterpieces.

He was passionate about playing corn hole and horseshoes and played many tournaments and participated for several years in the Lafayette Senior Games.

He loved to fish, listen to bluegrass music, and spend time with his dogs.

Funeral service 1pm, Thursday, June 3 at Hunt and Sons Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
Visitation 11am until time of service.
Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
