Mrs. Tomlinson was born September 13, 1937 in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late James B. Baker and Sarah Frances Buddin Baker. She was a graduate of Hebron High School and was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tomlinson worked at Baxter Laboratories for a number of years before teaching kindergarten at the Lake City Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Tomlinson was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Jovie Mew; brothers Emory Baker, Rudolph Baker, and William Baker and a sister, Marguerite Huggins.
