LAKE CITY " Mrs. Marguerite Baker Huggins, 75, wi-dow of Herbert Allison Huggins Jr., died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, in the Joseph Still Burn Center, Augusta, Ga., after an illness.

Mrs. Huggins was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late James Bertie and Sarah Frances Buddin Baker. She was a homemaker and member of Hebron United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Richard A. (Traci) Huggins of Cades, Michael (Sue) Huggins of Bishopville and Stevie (Glenda) Huggins of Cades; two daughters, Wanda H. (Tommy) Smith of Scranton and Ann H. Baggett of Lake City; a sister, Mary Frances (Talmadge) Tomlinson of Lake City; two brothers, William M. Billy (Naomi) Ba-ker of Cades and Major L. (Rosa) Baker of Lake City; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, James Rudolph Baker of Gastonia, N.C., and Emory R. Baker of Cades.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Brockington Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Lake City Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation, 3614 J. Dewey Gray Circle, Building C, Augusta, GA 30909.

The family will have visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
