The death of Abram Faas occurred very suddenly near East Palmyra on Thursday evening, aged 53 years. Mr. Faas had been working for Mr. Dey, doing some ditching. He worked on Thursday and was apparently as well as usual. He ate a hearty dinner and supper. After supper Thursday evening, he smoked his pipe as usual and was talking with the members of the family. While doing this and sitting in a chair, he suddenly expired. Mr. Faas was born in Holland, the son of Jacob Faas. He came to this country about 1880 and settled in the town of Palmyra. Since that time, he had lived in this community and was a farmer. He is survived by two sons and a daughter. The funeral will be held this Saturday at the residence of his daughter. Burial will be made at East Palmyra.
