Matt Brown, Jr., departed this earthly life on December 14, 2020 at  Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL.

He was born to the union of Matt Brown, Sr. (Judge Booker) and Wynona Booker on June 29, 1952 in Coatopa, Alabama. 

Matt attended Livingston High School in Coatopa, Alabama.  He then relocated to Lake County, IL where he was employed with Morton Manufacturing and American Motors for a total of 30 years.  Matt enjoyed fishing with the grandchildren and lighting up the grill.  He married the love of his life Wanda Brown on July 13, 1986 in Waukegan, IL.

Matt leaves to honor and cherish his wonderful memory his loving and devoted wife, Wanda Brown; two sons, Don Curtis (Jackie) Brown of Zion, IL and Matthew Brown of Waukegan, IL; three daughters, Donna Bonilla of Waukegan, IL Chwanda (Kacey) Frierson-Nixon of Atlanta, Ga and Meeka Ransom of Zion, IL; loving mother and father, Wynona and Judge Booker; fifteen grandchildren and he wqs gifted with bonus children; four brothers, Ernest Booker of St. Clairsville, OH, James Charleston of Waukegan, IL, Darryl R. Brown of Irving, TX and Joseph K. Brown of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Sandra Booker of Grayslake, IL and Cathy (Warren) Roseborough of Munford, TN; brothers in law, Daniel (Marshe) Bonilla and Sammy Bonilla; sisters in law, Johanna (Mike) Fields, Ruth (Mike) Veaga, Rebecca Vasquez and Belinda Delacy; one uncle, Lorenzq Beville of Waukegan, IL three aunts, Gloria Rice of Waukegan, IL, Ruth Jackson of Tuscaloosa, AL and Dorothy Jackson of Coatopa, AL; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends, Maria Hernandez, Mary Lewis and Angela Patterson.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Matt Brown, Sr., grandmother, Elsie Williams, two brothers, Don Curtis Brown and Mark Booker and two sisters, Brenda Booker and Diane Miller Quinn.

A Celebration of His Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Bradshaw & Range Funeral Home, 2513 W. Dugdale Road, Waukegan, IL. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery, Zion, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
