Stella M. Casey, 84, of Quinnipiac Ave., North Haven died Wednesday (March 8, 2000) in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Charles B. Casey, Sr.

She was born in Utica, NY on February 27, 1916, daughter of the late Michael and Caroline (Miller) Bauer. She had worked as a volunteer library aide at Green Acres School in North Haven.

She is survived by two sons; two daughters; a brother, Edward Bauer of New York; four sisters, Steph Mellor of New York, Antoinette McIntyre of Darien, Mary Schmidt of Middletown and Pauline Sauvage of Orange; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Major Karol A. Bauer and a sister, Caroline Beaver.

Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden Saturday at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:30 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-8 p.m. Contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 61 Burban Dr., Branford, CT 06405.
