Actress. She was best known to film viewers for her roles in the films "The House of Usher" (1989) and "Face/Off." (1997) She got her start in the entertainment industry by winning the Mother/Daughter USA pageant in 1980. At age 17, she was signed to Ford Models and began modeling in Europe. She eventually moved back to Los Angeles and dipped her toes into the acting world, sometimes going by her stage name, Romy Windsor. In 1984, she made her acting debut in the film "Up the Creek." Besides "The House of Usher" and "Face/Off," she would go on to appear in such films as "Thief of Hearts," (1984) "Big Bad John," (1990) "Surf Ninjas," (1993) and "Camp Nowhere." (1994) That same year, she made her "small screen" debut on the series "Charles in Charge." She went on to appear in such series as "T.J. Hooker," "Quantum Leap," "Matlock," "Man of the People," "Civil Wars," "Hotel Malibu," "Murder One," "Silk Stalkings," and "The X-Files." After retiring from acting in 2011, she became an acting teacher in the San Fernando Valley in California. She passed away after experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
