Felix C Hendrickson was born December 31, 1853 and departed from this life July 21, 1929, age 75 years, 6 months and 21 days.
He was married to Miss Anna C. Mayes December 21 1871. To this union eight children were born, three of whom died in infancy, and Mrs. J.W. {Ida} Harrison, who died in 1919. In 1878 Mr. Hendrickson and his family moved to Kansas and in 1887 they moved to Bates Co. where his wife died in 1890.
Mr. Hendrickson was married to Miss Beulah Farls, December 18, 1892. To this union six children were born, all of whom are living.
During the middle age of his life he was converted and united with the Cove Creek Christian church. He lived in that faith till his death. He lived a clean, upright life. He was a devoted companion, a beloved father and a kind neighbor. The kinsmen, friends and acquaintances recognized in him one whose entire life was centered in the welfare of his children. He was one of them in their growing years, and one for them after maturity, helping them in their endeavor to succeed in any undertakiing.
He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Flora Douglas of Urich, Mrs Sallie Workman of Foster, Mrs Veda Wagner of Butler, Mrs Leta Hooper of Ballard, six sons, Walter of Nevada, Carl of Butler, Albert Felix of Clinton, Charles of Ballard, W. S. {William} of Urich and Roy of the home. three sisters, Mrs. Mary Chelf, Mrs. Nancy Stayton and Mrs. Eliza Belton and an aged brother, J. I. Hendrickson, fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of sorrowing friends.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning, July 23, at 10:30 at the home, by the Hon. H. O. Maxey of Butler. A large crowd was in attendance. Burial was made in the Butler cemetery {Double Branch} under the direction of the R.B. Arnold Undertaking establishment at Creighton.
