She was born on December 15, 1933, in Belmont, N.C., the daughter of Eunice Featherston and Marshall "Jack" Reid.
Her husband, James Caldwell Hall, Jr. predeceased her.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Marsha Hall Moseley (Michael Bruce) of Lexington, S.C. and James Caldwell Hall, III (Tricia) of Clover, S.C., a sister Marsha Reid "Mickey" White of Fountain Inn, S.C., and a brother, William Timothy Reid (Phyllis) of Clover, S.C. She was devoted to her grandchildren, Stuart A. Bahnmuller (Kate) of Washington, DC, Virginia "Ginnie" Hall Westmoreland (Chad) of Clover, S.C.; James Caldwell (Cort) Hall, IV (Kristen) of Rock Hill, S.C.; Tyler Reid Bahnmuller of Columbia, S.C.; and William Hunter Hall (Donna) of York, S.C. She especially enjoyed her 5 great-grandchildren, Corbin Jack Westmoreland, Sadie Reid Westmoreland, Wren Kathryn Hall, Wells Page Hall, and Carolyn Mae Hall.
A family burial shall be held on June 3, 2021, at 10:00 with a memorial service following the burial at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Presbyterian Church, South New Hope Road, Gastonia, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Presbyterian Church Springs Project, 4357 S. New Hope Road, Gastonia, N.C. 28056; Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731; or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
