Sam Golden Biggers, 73, a retired welder from Boyle, died Monday July 20, 1987, at his residence. He was a Mason and veteran of the armed services.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara C. Biggers of Boyle, two daughters, Mrs. Paula Robertson and Miss Minnie Biggers both of Anaheim, Calif., two step-daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Furnish of Sumner, Wash, and Mrs. Peggy Ann Giddis of Ephrata, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Pauline Applewhite of Winona, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted from Lee Funeral Home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. Dan Beardain and the Rev. Dr. Jerry Mixon preached. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dillard Biggers, John Bridges, James E. Brister, Milton Brister, Frank Cowart and A.J. Cowart. Lee Funeral Home handled arrangements.
