Last rites for H.M. "Jack" Biggers, who passed away June 24, at the King Daughter's Hospital in Greenville, were held Wednesday afternoon, June 27th, at 3:30 o'clock at Bethel Church with Rev. C.E. Burden, assisted by the Rev. H.C. Miller officiating. Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
Mr. Biggers was born in Choctaw County, June 3, 1882, the son of the late William and Susie Montgomery Biggers. He married the former Miss Florence Brister who survives. He also leaves a daughter, Miss Pauline Biggers, Winona; 4 sons, Pvt. Guy Biggers, Camp Lee, VA.; Edd Biggers, Kilmichael; Sam Biggers, Mathiston; William Biggers, Pine Bluff, Ark and 2 brothers, R.N. Biggers of Poplar Creek and J.O. Biggers, of Winona
