Mary Hollenbeck, widow of the late Frank Hollenbeck, died Tuesday night (April 4, 1933) at her home in Marseilles after a lingering illness.

Mary Ann Lowe was born in Hartford, Connecticut on April 15, 1877. With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dawson, she moved to Odell, Illinois where she spent her girlhood. On January 31, 1900, she was united in marriage with Frank Hollenbeck of Seneca.

To this union, eight children were born, all of whom are living to mourn her loss. They are: Harvey Hollenbeck of Joliet, Frances Hollenbeck of Ottawa, Thomas, Charles, William and Roy, Mrs. Lawrence O'Brien and Mrs. Elmer Stewart, all of Marseilles. She also leaves four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Charles Pellino and Mrs. John Pellino, both of Marseilles; Mrs. Ralph Evitts of Joliet; Mrs. Alvin Wright of Ransom; Mrs. Henry Greer of Morris; Joseph Dawson of Chicago and John Dawson of Joliet.

One sister, Mrs. Charles Rafferty, preceded her in death.
