Franklin "Frank" Johnson passed away October 12, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ.
He retired as chairman of Tuftco Finishing Systems, Dalton, GA and Vice President of Tuftco International, Chattanooga. After 42 years of service during which time he traveled to over 50 countries and 6 of the 7 continents selling carpet processing equipment.

He attended school at Tyner High School, class of 1950 and The University of Chattanooga.

He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 95 and VFW Post 1289.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lennie Johnson, daughter Vicky Lynn Johnson, son Stewart Blaine Johnson. Brothers Robert, Granville, Lee Roy Johnson and sister, Betty June Griffin.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Norma Jean "Dimples" Johnson. Sister, Loraine Elrod of Chatsworth, GA. Daughter-in-law, Lori Johnson of Rossville, GA. Grandson, Jeremy Johnson of Chattanooga, TN. Granddaughter Abby (Jon) Viar of Ringgold, GA. Great-Grandchildren, Jada Johnson, Skyler Johnson, Carson "Chip" Viar and Neyland Viar.

There will be a gravesite service at Lakewood Memory Gardens at Wednesday, October 14 at 1pm. Rev. Jeremy Johnson officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.

We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes "social distancing and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
