Early Life: Linda was born November 24, 1940, in Provo, Utah, to Howard William and Eva Allen Gray. Linda grew up in Lehi, Utah, with three younger brothers: Allen, Gary, and Randy. She attended Lehi High School, graduating with the class of 1959.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On March 4, 1959, Linda married Klin Morvel Holdaway in the Salt Lake Temple. They had four children. She spent most of her life being a loving, devoted mother and housewife. After the death of her husband, Klin, in 1977, she worked in the bookkeeping and banking industry. She met Erald Langston Ballard; they were married December 8, 1978. He later died in 2006. Linda loved camping, cooking, sewing, painting ceramics, planting flowers, and working in her yard. She cherished spending time with family; reunions and parties were her favorite. Linda served faithfully as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings over the years, including: Nursery, Primary, Cub Scouts, and Relief Society. Linda Gray Holdaway Ballard, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was 80 years old.
Survived By: Her children: Brad (SuAnn) Holdaway, Delayne (Lane) Gray, Shaun Holdaway, and Mindy Holdaway; brother. Gary (Linda) Gray; and two half-brothers: Tom (Christine) Halladay and Kris (Stacey) Halladay; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law: Shirley Gray and Barbara Gray.
Preceded In Death By: Her two husbands, her parents, and two brothers: Allen Gray and Randy Gray.
