Mary Lou Lindsey Prothro
SHREVEPORT, LA -Mary Lou Lindsey Prothro died July 9, 2002 at Grace Home. She was bom October 29, 1917 in Red River Parish to Aaron B. and Grade Lee Adkins Lindsey. She was a retired medical records librarian. Mary Lou or "Grand Mary" to her grandchildren was warm hearted and generous. Her home was always open to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, John Prothro; four daughters, Gracie Eakes, Marie and husband, Wayne Tolbert. Marjorie Smith, Deirdre Harkins; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
She will always be with us in our hearts. She donated her body to science as a gift to humanity.
A memorial services will be announced.
