Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Reynolds, 69, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. A graduate of Kirkman Technical

High School, auto mechanics in 1969, he worked for the City of Chattanooga a total of 32 years. He worked for the City of Chattanooga Police Department for the last 22 years. Kenny also worked for the Tri-State Pools in Hixson for the past 20 years. He participated in horseshoes and softball and built and raced his own race car. His dad was always his racing helper and partner. His whole family were his biggest fans. He raced mostly at North Georgia and Cleveland race tracks with his #42. Many people called him "Earnhart" because of his physical likeness. He was a big Earnhart fan. He played in many softball leagues and tournaments for years as well. Then he went on to become an avid bowler. He enjoyed bowling and his bowling family. He set a few records, reached many personal goals and made many friends. He also spent many hours with his Harley Davidson and working on cars, preferably street rods. His most current and special project, especially for Beverly, being their 1938 Chevy truck. He not only participated in his sports and hobbies but he jumped in with both feet. He gave it his all. He encouraged everyone around him to do the same. Winning was always his plan. He remembered everything; where, when each game, each win or loss, each play and each player. He had so many stories that he loved to reminisce about, share and discuss with others. Anyone remembering him, thinking of him or missing him, please keep those stories going. Also, he would hope that everyone do a random, unexpected act of kindness for someone in need of a little kindness.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ike Reynolds, Jr.; mother, Annie Derryberry Reynolds and sister, Barbara Reynolds Harvey.

Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Beverly Reynolds; daughter, Vickie Hubbard; grandson, Zachary Hubbard; granddaughter, Courtney Hubbard; great grandchildren, Crimson, Grayson and Z. James Eberhart and Alaina Hubbard and niece, Patricia Alnaser.

There will not be a service at this time. Burial will be at a later date at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
