WILLIAMS, Harriet Lee Berkley, 79, went to sing in Heaven's choir August 10, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Channing G. Williams; son, Channing G. Williams II, and his wife Sharon Shoop Williams; two grandchildren, Channing III and Michael Williams; and sister, Andrea. Harriet graduated from James Madison University's School of Music. She was a retired school teacher and performed for many years in church choirs. Harriet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
