ICE TRUCK OPERATOR AT GALENA DIES AT 41

Galena, Kan., Feb. 10.-William Harold Pittman, 41 years old, Galena resident all his life, died at 7 o'clock this morning at his home, Eleventh and Amherst streets, following a several weeks' illness.
He was born in Galena December 3, 1906. During the last 15 years he had operated an independent ice truck here. Prior to that he was employed in the mines.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna Pittman, and three children, William Harold, jr., Peggy Jean and Dimple Jo Pittman, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Smallwood and Miss Ruby Pittman of Galena, and a brother, Dan Pittman of Galena,
Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Poteet funeral home. &&&&&&


We wish to thank the friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of our beloved husband, father and brother, William H. Pittman, and also for the flora offerings. We especially thank the Rev. W. Darst, the singers and the Poteet funeral home.
