Doris accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Moriah M. B. Church. She was a faithful member until her health failed. She received her education in the Kosciusko School District.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Katie Mae Fletcher; sister, Emma Kate Winters; brothers; Ralph Fletcher and Michael Winters.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, James Martin; her stepson, Lamarkus Martin; mother and father-in-law, Curtis and Alice Faye Martin; sisters, Minnie Foster, Lottie Winters, Georgia (Lester) Winters, Patricia Randle, and Trina Fletcher all of Kosciusko, MS; Lynnie Truss of NC; brothers, Percy Fletcher, Jr., and Wilfred Fletcher of Carthage, MS; Jerome (Sara) Fletcher of KS; Percy Winters, Jr., of Portland, OR; Willie (Jacqueline) Winters, Robert Winters, Larry Winters, and Tony Winters all of Kosciusko, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
