Surviving are her beloved husband of 64 years; four sons: Rodney E. Decker (Lori) of Plum Creek, Barry A. Decker (Vicky Defibaugh) of Bedford, Charles W. "Chuck" Decker (Tammy) of Martinsburg and Brian S. Decker (Ann) of Montrose; a daughter, Michelle Y. Rightenour (Lee) of Martinsburg; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna McKinney of Ronks.
Patty attended Curryville Church of the Brethren for many years and more recently the Faith Assembly of God in Roaring Spring. She worked as a certified nurse's aide for Homewood at Martinsburg for 22 years. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her pet boxers. Patty also enjoyed taking her kids to their baseball games, swimming at the ore hole and camping.
A public graveside service will be held at 11am, Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Diehl's Crossroads Church Cemetery, rural Martinsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. Memorial contributions in memory of Patty may be given to Martinsburg Food Pantry, 118 E. Spring St., Martinsburg, PA 16662 or Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
