Thomas Lamar "Dady" Gordon, 91, of Cruger, MS, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at University of Mississippi Health Care in Lexington, MS. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Pinecrest Cemetery in Tchula, MS, and visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home. Rev. Al Different will officiate.
Mr. Gordon was born June 5, 1929 in Cruger, MS, to Hewitt Gordon and Willie Irene Hester Gordon. He was a member of Cruger Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served in the United States Air Force during Korea, and for a number of years on the Cruger Board of Alderman. He was the owner of Gordon Motor Company before his retirement in 2001 and was very active in the Cruger-Tchula Academy Booster Club. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann Turner and Jean Slay; brother, Hewitt Gordon; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara Jean Ballard Gordon of Cruger, MS; son, Thomas Lamar Gordon, Jr., and wife Jewel of Gluckstat, MS; daughter, Tamara Lynn Gordon of Nashville, TN; brother, Henry L. Gordon of Cruger, MS; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Turner, Kennon Turner, Mack Gordon, Neil Turner, Greg Ballard, and Steve Fleming.

Military honors will be conducted by Keesler-Hamrick-Gillespie American Legion Post 29 Honor Guard.
