BILLY BOY TANNER JR., 35, of 2209 Hickory Crest, salesman for Tanner Enterprises, died Thursday after an apparent heart attack. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with entombment in Forest Hill Mausoleum East. He was an Army veteran and played softball on the Christ United Methodist Church team. He leaves his wife, Mary Moody Tanner; a son, William Taylor Tanner; his father, William B. Tanner; two sisters, Ms. Crystal M. Tanner and Ms. Weatherly B. Tanner, and a brother, W. Blake Tanner Jr., all of Memphis. The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on December 15, 1990)
