Mr. Franklin Douglas Adams, Sr., 77, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Armenia United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Adams was born July 4, 1943 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of the late Roddy B. Adams and Mamie Blue Adams. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was retired from Ruth Salad as a route salesman. Prior to Franks decline in health he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and playing golf. He was an avid gamecock sports fan. Mr. Adams was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Barbara Phillips Adams; one son, Frank Adams, Jr. (Tracy) of Chapin, SC; one daughter, Kim Taylor (Jerry ) of Lugoff, SC; three brothers, Judd Adams (Espranza ) of Columbia, South America, Bob Adams and Dewey Adams (Juanita) both of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Jane Johnson (Bill) of Rock Hill, SC; five grandchildren, Jeremy Adams (Samantha), Christina Adams (Andrew), Laurel Taylor, Carson Cinicola, Alex Cinicola (Katlyn); two precious great grandchildren, CheyAnn Adams, Layla Adams and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Wages Hunter and his brother Clarence Adams.
