ASHLAND — Anna Marie Beck, 86, of 1124 Walnut St., Ashland, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 28, 2011.
Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Helena (Toppe) Gabel.
She was a member of St. Mauritius Catholic Church in Ashland and the Altar Rosary Society. She was employed by Girard Estate before retiring and was previously employed by the Hammond Coal Company and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Beck, in 2004, and two brothers, Joseph, in 1963, and John, in 1984.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Smith, of Ashland, and Marianne Beck, of Lancaster; a sister, Helene Youskites, of Ashland; three grandchildren, Jessica Borden, William Smith and Jacqueline Savoia; five great-grandchildren, Cole, Tyler, Anna, Kirsten and Emily, and nieces and nephews survive.
