POLCHIES, LORNE R. - Lorne Raymond Polchies of Kingsclear First Nation passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Lorne was 68. Born in Houlton, Maine on March 20, 1944, he was a son of the late Joseph and Annie (Sacobie) Polchies. He was Roman Catholic by faith was a retired Custodian for Kingsclear First Nation. Lorne is survived by his wife of 22 years, Adrienne (Cormier) Polchies; two daughters, Terri Girdler (Greg) of Cambridge, Ontario and Janice Crawford of Lincoln, NB; two sons, David Polchies (Theresa) of Kingsclear First Nation and Roy Crawford of Fredericton; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Sargent (Henry) of Sanford, Maine and Bernadine Gobeil (Carl) of Biddeford Pool, Maine; two brothers, Billy Polchies and Eldon Polchies both of Kingsclear First Nation; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Priscilla (Mullen) Polchies; three brothers, Richard, Val and Louis Polchies; three sisters, Irene Sabattis, Lucy Levesque and Deloris Paul.
