Larry Dean Stansell, 70, of Huntsville; died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab.
He was born Sunday, July 16, 1950, at Huntsville; to Leonard Olen and Euna Belle Vanderpool Stansell.
Larry retired from Butterball, was a member of the Church of Christ, and had served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Olen Stansell; and two sisters, Brenda Nivens and Linda Jones.
He is survived by his brother, Eddie Stansell of Elkins; one nephew, Matthew Stansell of Prairie Grove; one niece, Debbie Smith and husband, Ricky, of Elkins; his life partner, Joyce Brown of Huntsville; and her children, Mary Gorman of Huntsville, Darrell Goreman of Las Vegas, Nevada; Donald and Mayuri Goreman of Huntsville, and Cedona and Glen Conn of Douglasville, Georgia; and many grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Interment will take place in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
