Julia Landi Priano, 77, of Syracuse , passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Born to the late Guido and Gelsomina Landi, she was a former employee of Syracuse China and then later retired from the Syracuse City School District. Julia was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence "Dilly" Priano, in 1997, and by her brothers, Reno Landi and Raymond Landi. Julia is survived by her daughter, Laura Priano-Lynch of North Syracuse ; granddaughter, Alexa Lynch; grandson, Michael Lynch; brother, Oreste Landi of Syracuse ; sister, Lena Massara of Syracuse ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 8:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Assumption Mausoleum.
