Services For Mrs. Bessie Auman, Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Rebecca Auman, 72-year-old Picher resident since 1918, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Bethel Tabernacle in Picher by the Rev. Henry Ford. Burial was in the Hill Crest cemetery near Galena, under the direction of the Hunter Funeral home.

Pallbearers were Charles King, Connor Price, Harold Jones, Vic Forcum, Kenneth Young and Clayton Moore.

Mrs. Auman died at 4:30 Sunday afternoon in the Picher hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital the past six weeks.

Mrs. Auman was born in Parkersville [Parkerville], Kansas, and has lived here since 1918. Her church membership was with the Bethel Tabernacle.

Survivors include her husband, Guy Auman of the home, 704 N. Main street; two sons, Melvin Perry, Cardin; and William Perry of Tulsa; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Sadler, Miami, route 1; Mrs. Letha Massie and Mrs. Grace Bradbury, Tulsa; and Mrs. Gladys McCormick of Huntington, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Hockersmith of Webb City, Mo. and Mrs. Olive McGregor of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; three step-sons, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Picher, Okla., Sept. 28.—Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Rebecca Auman, 72 years old, will be conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Bethel tabernacle. The Rev. Henry Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery at Galena under direction of Hunter funeral home.

The body will lie in state at the chapel until time for the services. Pallbearers will be Charles King, Connor Price, Harold Jones, Vick Forcum, Kenneth Young and Clayton Moore.
