Susan J. Little, age 59, longtime area resident, passed away on Friday May 14, 2021 at the Trillium Hospice House while in the loving are of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice.
Susan was born in Ishpeming on May 30, 1961, daughter of the late James Nelson and Virginia (Prisk) Nelson. Susan was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School class of 1979. She worked for many years as a property manager for Premier Real Estate.
Susan was a member of the Champion Township board of Trustees, served on the town planning commission, always looking to be a part of the local community and give back to her hometown that she loved. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing cards and board games, being outside, laying in the sun and especially spending time with her family.
Susan is survived by her husband of many years Steven Little of Columbus, WI, daughter- Crystal Steffen and son-in-law Steve Steffen of Champion, 3 siblings- Susan Elizabeth of Duluth, MN, Billie (Nelson) Glover of Asheville, NC, Tiffany Nelson of Winston Salem, NC, mother- Virginia (Prisk) Nelson of Denver, NC, and her special friends- Keven and Cathy Plankey of Champion, Bob and Linda Tucker of Fond du Lac, WI. She was preceded in death by her father- James Nelson and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Susan's family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone that helped her and gave her a hand over the years.
Honoring Susan's wishes cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
