Martha was baptised at Walton on the 15th of October 1835.
In 1841 she was living with her parents at Willow Bank in Walton.
She married Captain Edward Abbot-Anderson at Sefton on the 17th of August 1858.
Their eldest son was born in Ireland and their second in 1861 when they were living in The Lodge at Hythe in Kent.
They moved to Cambridge Town (Camberley today) where Captain Anderson was attached to the Royal Military College (now RMA).
Martha gave birth to their son, named for his father, on the 14th of April 1864. Martha died the following day and was buried at St Michaels' on the 19th of April.
