Martha met her true love, Ottis Ray Hicks at church and they were married on September 21, 1963. They made their home in Live Oak, CA.
Martha worked at Woolworths and sold Avon. She raised 2 sons, and took pride in taking care of her family and her home.
Martha enjoyed traveling to San Francisco and the Redwoods. She loved going to yard sales and the flea market.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ottis Hicks; her two sons, Richard (Lori) and Randy (Kim Waller); 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Bubba.
Her service will be held Wednesday, May 19th, 2021, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. There will be a viewing held from 10:00am-12:00pm for the public, with her service beginning at 12:00pm, followed by a graveside service at Live Oak Cemetery.
