June 25, 1951 - May 10, 2021
Kathleen Gardner Powell, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, was called home to our Heavenly Father on May 10, 2021.
Kathy was proceeded in death by her mother, Vivian Gardner, her father, Max Gardner, and her two brothers Loren Gardner and Brent Gardner. She is survived by her Husband, Stephen Powell, her sister Vicky Sommers, her six children and their spouses: Stacy Powell, Chad and Brianna Powell, Lance and Sarah Powell, Cody and Anne Powell, Tiffany and Jordan Norton, and Troy Powell. Kathy is also survived by her 16 grandchildren: Olivia, Brayden, Hunter, Greggory, Tyson, Ryan, Alex, Gracie, Mason, Emilie, Tristan, Lincoln, Bailey, Lexi, Rylie and Maddox.
Kathy was a beautiful soul, who treated everyone with love and kindness. She made you feel as if you were her favorite person. She took in so many neighborhood friends and made them feel like they were one of her own kids.
Kathy had the most infectious laugh that would make the whole room laugh. She had such a great sense of humor, inappropriate at times, but she knew how to lighten any mood.
Kathy had a love of games and competition, either win or lose, she just loved the atmosphere and a room full of laughter and joy.
Kathy was very loved and will be missed so very much.
