"Job Kidder (Joseph6, John2, James1), born at Sutton, Worcester Co., Mass., 14 July 1725; died at Goffstown, Hillsborough Co., N. H., 23 Oct. 1823, "aet. 98y 3mo." He married Molly _?_ .
Lieut. Job Kidder moved from Sutton, Mass. while a young man, probably settling first at Londonderry, later removing to Goffstown, N. H., where about 1752, "Job Kidder of Londonderry" appears as one of the original grantees of the town. He was a farmer, and was spoken of as a man of steady and active habits, quite athletic, retaininga high degree of energy until past his ninetieth year. He is referred to in the town records as "Lieutenant," but no military service applying to him has been established.
