Gerald Christensen passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 79. Gerald (Gug) was born on October 5, 1941 to Selma Merle Hackford and Jens Christensen in Ft. Duchesne, Utah. Gerald married Alice LaDee Mecham on August 17, 1962 in Vernal, Utah. Gug enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his beloved horses, playing softball, family game nights full of chaos and doing fun things with his woman and girls.

Gug is survived by his loving wife of 58 years LaDee; children: Judy (Scott) Dimick, Alice (Alan) Larsen, Sarah (Preston) Searle, Cindy (Jason) Smith; and many other acquired people that he dearly loved, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren with two more on the way, 6 great-great grandchildren with one more on the way; brothers: Jewel, Dale, Ted, Dennis and Vance Christensen; sisters: Leona Jensen, Bolena Aguilar, Christina Hullinger, Elnora Christensen, and Dixie Malone.
He is preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law; grandsons: JB, Larry, CJ and Cameron; granddaughter Janetta, great granddaughter Jadyn, brothers: Clarence, Wilbert, LeRoy, and Vernon Christensen; sisters Lola Christensen and Mary Chivers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Farmcreek/Reed Cemetery.
