Clarence married the love of his live Edith Lorraine Mecham on November 14, 1959 in Vernal. They were married 49 years and six months. They had 6 daughters: Edith, Gay, Diane, Ramona, Jo, and Fawn. Lorraine and infant daughter Ada Diane preceded him in death.
Clarence was a member of the Uintah Valley Shoshone Band; also know as the Ute Indian Tribe, Uintah Band. He served in World War II and was honorably discharged with Full Military Honors.
Clarence loved being with his family, hunting and fishing, and watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren- and watching the hummingbirds from his kitchen window. But spending time with his family was the most important times in his life.
Clarence is survived by his sons: Darrell Robert (Rebecca) Christensen, Jackie Ray (Dianne) Christensen Daughters; Debra Audrie Christensen, Edith Marie (Anthony) Magliocco,
Selma Gay Christensen, Ramona (Troy) Harris, Josephine (Robert) Kingsbury, Nancy Fawn (Charles) D'Anza; 25 Grandchildren; and many Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Jewel and (Edith) Christensen, Leona Maxine (Van) Jensen; Half Siblings Dale,Mary,Gerald,Christina,Bolina,Dennis, Ellie,Terry,Dixie, Vance; nieces, nephews,and other relatives. Clarence was preceded in death by daughter; Carol Emma Christensen, Timothy Clarence Christensen, Alan Christensen, Parents;Jens and Lydia Reed Christensen Brother; Wilbert Richard Christensen Sister; Lola Edith Christensen.
A private viewing was held on Wednesday December 17,2014, with his immediate family. He will be laid to rest with Lorraine at a future date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
Clarence was laid to rest with Lorraine on Wednesday June 17,2015.
