Poland — Mr. and Mrs. William Miller marked their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at a dinner party in their home for relatives and friends.
They were married Nov. 26, 1896 in Ohio City Methodist Church by the Rev. Joseph Hartness.
Mr. Miller was born in town of Russia, a son of John C. and Louisa Mykel Miller.
Mrs. Miller is the former Miss Lodema Gay, was born in Remsen, a daughter of John and Harriet Rathbun Gay.
Mr. Miller was engaged in lumbering for many years. Prior to moving here 20 years ago they resided in Northwood and Salisbury.
Mr. Miller is now employed by the Jamestown Veneer & Plywood Co.
