During Dust Bowl Days, Keith, Laura and family moved to Weiser, Idaho and later to Nyssa, Oregon. Laura was a housewife and Keith was a mechanic. In 1947 they purchased a farm out of Nyssa and in 1948 their son, Doug, was born. Marlene married Walter Ross originally of Hoquiam, Wa and Glenda married Carl Barnes originally of Muncy, Pa. Sadness came to the family as Doug died in a hunting accident October 4, 1963. Glenda and Carl had moved to Whidbey Island, Wa and when the accident happened they moved back to Nyssa to be with her parents. Marlene and Walt lived in Ontario, Or and next year they moved to Twin Falls, Id. Keith and Laura passed away, both in Ontario, Or. where they had moved.
